Stephan Rausch is an illustrator & designer from Berlin. His creative endeavours started with music at the age of 7. His creative interest expanded into drawing in his late teens. After discovering the aesthetics of album covers, skateboard decks and independent magazine covers, he dabbled into the world of illustration & design in 2014. As an illustrator, he incorporates both illustrative and design oriented aspects into this work and focuses on concepts. Much of his work is noted for having limited muted colours, classic typography and textures. This often creates the timeless aesthetic captured in his work. He draws inspiration from inked drawing styles of the 50s, surrealism and American print. He has a diverse perspective as an artist and aims to conceptualises ideas in different formats (poster design, editorial, band artwork, advertising, logo etc.). Since 2017, he has been art directing projects in the area of music, helping bands with their artwork and branding. Aside from working with clients, he's been involved in exhibitions and has recently collaborated with Greek artist 'Constantine' on the shoe project "Pairs In Mind" in early 2018. He has an open mind and always looks forward to working on a variety of projects with any new clients.
